The 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Sinebir Was Held

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, we came together with our members at the Tarık Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center and held the 10th Ordinary General Assembly of our Professional Association.

 Following a moment of silence in memory of the cinema workers we have lost, the General Assembly began with the election of Faruk Hacıhafızoğlu as Chair of the Council Board, and Zeliha Orman and Soysal Demir as secretaries. It continued with the reading of the Activity Report for the 2023–2025 term by our Chairman of the Board, Tunç Davut. After evaluating the copyright-related work carried out in the previous period, the activities of the Association, and the establishment and activities of the federation, the planned work for the upcoming period was discussed.

Following the reading of the Audit Board Report by the Chairman of the Audit Board, Nazif Tunç, participants shared their opinions and questions. Our Chairman of the Board Tunç Davut, our lawyer Eylem Akkayalı, and our General Secretary Soysal Demir made statements and answered questions.

After the presentations, speeches, and Q&A session, the proposed amendments and motions submitted to the General Assembly were addressed. Following discussions on the planned amendments to the bylaws, the amendments were approved by vote. Subsequently, the proposed directives, including the “Distribution and Documentation Directive,” were discussed and accepted.

After a break, the election of the new Board of Directors, other boards, and substitute members was completed. The list of the elected boards is presented below for your attention. The General Assembly concluded with wishes and good intentions.
